Mock Crash



FHS students were able to participate in a very powerful experience yesterday. Many people worked together to stage a Mock Crash presentation.

Please take a minute and read about all of the event. In addition, be sure to watch the video from Mr. Steve Iwanek, a 2020 FHS alumnus that was one of several victims in a horrific DUI accident. We cannot thank him and Mr. Vince Morales enough.

The pictures may be considered graphic, and the video is powerful.

Kindergarten Enrollment Begins
March 1st!


Parents living in the Firelands school district with children who will be five years old by August 1, 2024 are eligible to register their child for 2024-2025 kindergarten starting on March 1, 2024. Online registration can even be completed on your phone, without downloading an app.

Kindergarten registration involves completing all of the online forms in the Final Forms portal and providing all requested documents. The Final Forms link is here. 

Optional: If you need assistance with registration, you are welcome to schedule an appointment at the board office by emailing [email protected].
